On the occasion of its occupation of the KH-Mex building, an official opening celebration was held at the Queretaro site in Mexico on 11 November 2011. CEO, Axel Zuleeg, presented the KH-Mex team with a gift of a wall flag with best wishes from Germany. He explained that production was already taking place on two laser plants in the existing KH-Mex buildings. Varnished components from the KH subsidiary, unikun/China, are laser etched at KH-Mex and delivered directly to the customers’ premises in Mexico. For production orders, KH-Mex is presently investing in a new factory building with a manufacturing area of 6000m². The entire process including injection molding, varnishing and laser etching will be present at the new plant. Mass production at the new site will begin in the first quarter of 2013.
